If the font rendering on Mojave looks odd to you, try this

macOS Mojave nukes subpixel antialiasing, making your non retina monitor appear blurry

defaults write -g CGFontRenderingFontSmoothingDisabled -bool NO 

Enter that in terminal and reboot. Should be back to normal.
